FAQ

Can a non-Swazi own property in Swaziland?
Yes

Are the properties free hold or lease hold?
All properties on the estate are free hold and title deeded.

What about safety and security?
Swaziland is largely considered to be one of the safest countries in Africa. We have had no instances of significant crime on the estate and residents happily leave their doors open. Access to the estate is controlled by 24-hour security and we have a team of stationed and patrolling security on site around the clock. There is also an electric fence around the perimeter.

Are there any areas of development which still need to be complete by the developer?
No, all development obligations from the developer are complete!

Is there a monthly levy?
Yes, levies are decided on by the home owners association and can change from time to time - the levy is currently E1,926 per month.

Are there any shops nearby?
Yes, there is a brand new shopping complex nearing completion – doors should be open by December 2012.

Can I have pets?
Yes, homeowners are permitted to have pets however numbers are restricted.

Is the estate financially sound?
Yes, and there are sufficient levy payers to cover the monthly running costs of the estate.

If I buy a property do I become a member of the golf club?
Yes, you receive x3 memberships for the golf club when you purchase a property on the Estate.

Does Swaziland have good schools?
Yes, Swaziland has excellent primary and secondary schools and we are investigating the possibility of opening a school nearby in the near future.
